I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.

Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
