Making the Syrup: Place the listed components inside a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Then, remove from the stove and leave to reach room temperature entirely. Pour into an sealable bottle, seal keeping it chilled, it can be stored for up to four weeks.
For the Cocktail Base: Combine all the liquid ingredients into one sizeable container, let it rest for an hour, then pass it through , ideally through muslin, to ensure it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Add 85ml of your premix to a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and agitate carefully for one minute until cold. Strain into a cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, garnish with a few cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a brief mist of the essential oil over the drink.
